The location is excellent, just a short walk from the beach. The staff was friendly and quick to address any issues. the cleanliness of the room could be improved as we noticed some sandy floors upon arrival.

The location of the Wingate in Galveston is perfect with easy beach access. The staff greeted me warmly and were helpful throughout my stay. the room itself was disappointing. It felt outdated and had some cleanliness issues. The WiFi was spotty, making it hard to connect when I wanted to check my emails. I had also hoped for a decent breakfast, but it was limited and not very satisfying. I found it a struggle at times to have everything I needed in the room, including basic amenities. No major issues with noise, which was a plus, but it really needs a refresh to meet expectations.

Loving the beach vibes! We grabbed some great bites at nearby Benno's On the Beach, serving up fresh seafood that had me feeling all the Gulf Coast magic. Plus, the location is prime for sunset views. Can't beat that! Room had a nice view too!

love that we only have to walk across the road to the beach and the ac blew super cold. the bed was really comfy and the staff was nice. coffee there was strong and good, but they only had plain coffeemate. also, my room had no bedbugs, which is a plus!

the only downside was that the coffee options were limited and the bathroom could've been cleaner. also parking isn't free!

I had an amazing time soaking in the sun just steps away from the beach! My room was cozy, with a delightful view of the Gulf that made waking up a dream. The staff was genuinely helpful, making sure I had everything I needed to enjoy my stay—including incredible breakfast options every morning!

Keep the parking area in better shape!!! !!! The parking fee is an unwelcome surprise!!! Maintenance on the rooms could be vastly improved!!! More attention to cleaning common areas would enhance guest comfort!!!

The location is fantastic, just across from the beach! The staff was extremely friendly and available whenever needed. The room was clean and came equipped with a flat-screen HDTV and a coffee maker, making our stay comfortable. Plus, the free Wi-Fi was a nice touch, helping us stay connected during our trip.
